Program Note: Chaotic Neutral/Chaotic Good was composed for Dr. Cheyenne Cruz of the University of Texas Arlington. The work is a ferocious showcase for virtuoso bass clarinetist, combining nasty funk rhythms with explosions of free jazz and angular melodies. You don’t have to be one of the alignments in the title to play the piece, but it helps!
