+ What are your commission rates?
Honestly, it depends on a few factors: duration of the piece, number of performers, whether or not I already have a piece in my catalogue for that voice/instrumentation, completion date, whether or not the piece will be performed at a major venue/conference, number of guaranteed performances, whether or not a studio recording will be done, general interest in the project, etc.
I do offer flexible payment plans and rarely demand a sizeable chunk of cash upfront as I understand that money is tight and we are all doing our best!
